Tagliatelle with roasted cherry tomatoes, capers and smoked tuna

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (2 tins) smoked tuna TRATA
  • 500g tagliatelle
  • 300g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • Fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 100g tomato, grated

Method

Open the tins and save the tuna oil. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes. Put the cherry tomatoes, tuna oil, garlic and thyme in a bowl. Mix, season with salt and pepper and transfer to a large frying pan. Cover with the lid and let cook on medium heat for about 15 minutes, without stirring, until softened and slightly charred. Add the capers and grated tomato and cook for another 10 minutes. Turn off the heat. Cook the tagliatelle in plenty of salted boiling water, drain them and transfer to the pan with the roasted cherry tomatoes. Stir until the sauce reduces and thickens slightly. Serve with smoked tuna on top.
