SMOKED TUNA SANDWICH

  • 2 cans of TRATA smoked tuna
  • 8 bread slices
  • 2 tbs mustard
  • 1 tbs mayonnaise
  • 3 tbs Greek yogurt
  • 6 whole iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 6 whole radicchio leaves
  • 2 carrots peeled into ribbons

Method

Open the tuna cans and save the oil to toast the bread slices and flavour the mustard and mayonnaise. Brush the bread slices with tuna oil and grill on both sides. Pour a little oil in the mustard and whisk. Mix the mayonnaise, yogurt and a little tuna oil in a bowl.

Place four bread slices on a cutting board. Smear each with mustard, top with an iceberg lettuce leaf, carrots and radicchio leaves. Radicchio leaves should have a boat-like shape. Spread the mayonnaise inside and place the smoked tuna. Top with another slice of bread and cut the sandwich diagonally with a knife. Serve or pack it for work.
