SMOKED FISH ROE DIP (TRAMASALATA) WITH SMOKED TUNA

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of TRATA smoked tuna
  • 200g whole wheat bread, crust removed, soaked in water and squeezed
  • 1 large-sized onion, finely chopped
  • 200g sunflower oil
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 120g white tarama (fish roe)

Fro serving

  • Bread
  • Fresh herbs

Method

Open the cans and save the oil. You will need a food processor or a large bowl to combine all ingredients. Place the tarama and the tuna oil in a mixing bowl or the bowl of a food processor. Add the onion, lemon juice, sunflower oil, bread and stir or process until smooth and creamy. Add tuna and serve with bread and fresh herbs.
