SALAD WITH CRISPY MEDITERRANEAN ANCHOVIES AND SPICY MAYONNAISE

Ingredients

  •  1 package of Trata on Ice frozen fresh Aegean anchovy fillets (400 gr)
  • 200 gr mayonnaise
  • 10 gr curry powder
  • 10 gr smoked paprika
  • 30 gr finely chopped capers
  • 2 finely chopped green onions
  • 200 gr all-purpose flour
  • 200 gr oil for frying
  • Lettuce leaves (for serving)

Method

Mix the mayonnaise, green onions, spices, and capers in a bowl. Let the sauce stand in a bowl until serving time. Prepare the Mediterranean anchovy fillets, cover with flour, and heat the oil in a skillet to a high temperature. Fry the fish fillets in turns. Each side takes approximately three minutes to fry. Spread out the lettuce leaves in a bowl. Place the fish fillets and the sauce on top and serve.
