Pasta with leeks and smoked tuna piquant

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (2 tins) smoked tuna piquant TRATA
  • 3 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 500g fusilli
  • 100g parmesan, grated

For serving

  • Little lemon juice
  • Fresh herbs

Method

Open the tins, drain out the tuna oil and save it for the cooking. Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Put the leeks in a baking pan, add the tuna oil, garlic, season with salt and pepper, and mix. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes or until the leeks are soft. Cook the pasta 2 minutes less than the package’s recommended cooking time.

When the leeks are ready, add the pasta, tuna and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, add the parmesan, lemon juice, herbs and serve.
