Crispy tuna salad and avocado sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (2 tins) smoked tuna piquant, TRATA
  • 4 pita flatbreads, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp strained yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp vegan basil pesto
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Method

Open the tins, drain out the tuna oil and save it for the salad. Toast the pita flatbreads in the toaster until they’re crisp. Prepare the tuna salad. In a bowl, add the mustard, mayonnaise, yoghurt, tuna oil, and smoked tuna piquant, and mix. Lay half of the pita flatbreads on a surface next to each other, the remaining four in a second row just below, and divide the pesto. Spread the tuna salad, and top with tomato and avocado slices. Place the top half of each pita flatbread over the sandwich, and serve.
