BAKED SARDINE FILLETS WITH TOMATO SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 1 package of TRATA on ice Aegean sardine fillets (400 gr)
  • 1 large onion cut into thin slices
  • 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes
  • 2 red peppers
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Spread the onions and TRATA on ice sardine fillets in the baking dish. Dice the tomatoes and peppers and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour their juice onto the sardines. Spread out the garlic, sprinkle with the olive oil, and cook at 180°C for approximately 15 minutes. Serve with a seasonal salad.
