SELECTED SUPPLIERS - ISSF
All of TRATA’s tuna suppliers are members of the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF). The ISSF is a non-profit organization whose members include scientists participating in environmental and non-governmental organisations (such as WWF) and the world’s leading tuna canning industries.
SELECTED SUPPLIERS – DOLPHIN SAFE
All TRATA tuna products bear the label dolphin-safe used to denote that our suppliers respect the laws and regulations designed to minimize dolphin fatalities during tuna fishing.
SELECTED SUPPLIERS - IUU
We cooperate only with suppliers who are not listed on the IUU list (ILLEGAL, UNREPORTED, UNREGULATED fishing). Thus, we contribute to international efforts to promote effective ocean management and biodiversity protection.

The MSC is an independent, global, non-profit organisation that awards certification to sustainable and well-managed fisheries. The MSC Fisheries Standard comprises three core principles:
SUSTAINABLE TARGET FISH STOCKS
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF FISHING
We have begun the process of cooperating with herring and mackerel fishermen certified in accordance with the MSC eco-certification standard
SARDINES AND ANCHOVIES
We develop partnerships with auctions and state bodies to promote the initiative to help the Greek sardine and anchovy fishermen receive the MSC certification
Our goal, in the following years, is to get all tuna products MSC certified
